With over 30 years experience in the travel industry and also being involved in the safari industry since 1995, one of my top vacation experiences is a safari in Southern Africa. Being able to enjoy the sights and sounds of the magnificent bushveld, whilst taking in a glass of my favourite Bouchard Finlayson wine ,Galpin Peak Pinot Noir, passes as one of my most relaxing and rewarding experiences.

Having travelled extensively over the past 30 years it has to be said that the Oyster Box Hotel in Umhlanga Rocks, KwaZulu Natal overlooking the sultry waters of the Indian Ocean, is my favourite hotel in Southern Africa. The passion, care and dedication that went into restoring this gem on the East Coast of South Africa is appreciated by all who enter the doors of this iconic hotel.

I am privileged to be part of a wonderful industry made up of committed and passionate people and to be able to visit many unique and special places.
